LOOK.THINK.REPEAT

Throughout our lives, we gain connection through many things. Places, objects, and people are just some of the few we can feel psychological connections for. An important way to feel connections is through images; they are the portal into our history and can tell us a great deal about ourselves. Images can act as symbolic metaphors for others and be our puzzle pieces for storytelling; when represented through patterns they can indicate ideas, thoughts, and memories which occur repeatedly in our minds. Through the use of collaborative self-portraiture, the subject tells visual stories about their lives, feelings, memories, and personalities.
